LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Seven American Air Force crew members are dead Tuesday night after the cargo plane they were on crashed in Afghanistan.
Among the victims was 30-year-old Sergeant Daniel Fannin of Morehead, Ky.
The surveillance plane crashed nose first into the ground and then bursts into flames on Saturday.
Investigators say bad weather caused the plane to crash.
Fannin was assigned to the 552nd Operations Support Squadron at Tinker Air Force base in Oklahoma.
