LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Residents in the Dosker Manor senior housing complex in downtown Louisville faced scary moments when furniture in an apartment caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials say the fire began on a third floor balcony but did not spread into the apartment itself.
A neighbor spotted the fire and called for help.
“We sheltered in place every floor except the third floor. Nothing got inside or in any other adjacent apartment," Major Jody Meiman of the Louisville Fire Department said.
We’re told no one was hurt and arson investigators are trying to determine a cause.
