Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Six Flags has officially filed the motion in bankruptcy court not to accept the current lease from the Kentucky State Fair Board.

Last week, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom officials announced the park was closing and said again Monday that the decision is final.

Although the fair board contends that any affixed rides belong to Kentucky, Six Flags says it plans to relocate several of the rides and attractions to other parks.
