LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The sister of former agriculture commissioner Richie Farmer has been put on probation for her role in his campaign finance scheme.
Rhonda Monroe admitted to felony complicity in the case after farmer pleaded guilty to state and federal charges in September.
Monroe will serve five years probation in lieu of a one-year sentence.
Farmer pleaded guilty to misappropriating government funds.
His sentencing is scheduled for January.
