Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The massive sinkhole at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green will become a temporary attraction.
A 40-foot-wide sinkhole opened up overnight in February at the museum, swallowing several vintage and expensive cars.
Museum officials have decided to keep the sinkhole as a temporary attraction using a plexiglass viewing window so guests can see the construction and what it looks like now.
The eight corvettes that fell in that sinkhole have since been pulled out. The sinkhole exhibit will be open until the end of August, when construction is set to begin fixing the hole.
