Simpsonville students try to break world record with Dr. Seuss hats

(WHAS 11)--A special treat for students of Simpsonville Elementary who have reached their reading goals this year.

March 21 the kids will attempt to break the world records for most Dr. Seuss hats worn at the same time.

However they'll have a big challenge to overcome. Earlier this March more than a 1000 people in Tulsa set a new record for this very thing.  All while reading the rhymes of Dr. Seuss.
