CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting in the 5130 block of east Highway 31 that injured one man.
The shooting took place at a hotel called Pyramid Village where a female was having problems with her ex-boyfriend.
Police said the woman told a man who lives and works at the motel she was having problems with her ex-boyfriend, Eric Pretter, and she asked the man for help.
Pretter and the man got into a fight and Pretter shot the man.
The man from he motel has has non-life threatening injuries.
Pretter is behind bar charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and battery with a gun.
