(WHAS11) --   The Franklin County Humane Society shelter manager is resigning after criticism that she misidentified someone's pet as a coyote, and had it removed.   Lori Goodlet told WHAS11 News her pet of 11 years, a Shiba Inu named Copper, disappeared from her fenced-in backyard on July 3.
Police found the dog and took it to the shelter, but Regina McDaniel thought it was a coyote and police released it into the wild; the dog is still missing.  Officials say McDaniel resigned and her last day is Tuesday.
