(WHAS 11)--Bed bugs are such a problem in Shelbyville and the city is calling it an epidemic.
City leaders will host a public meeting Jan. 10 to educate landlords, tenants and the public about how to treat them.
They say it is mostly a problem in apartment complexes but it is quickly spreading.
The meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Stratton Community Center on Washington Street.
