LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A sex discrimination case brought by a captain at Louisville Metro Corrections was thrown out.
Dawn Thompson sued the department in 2009 saying repeated rumors about a romantic relationship between her and another officer kept her from being promoted sooner to her current position.
A Kentucky court of appeals judge wrote that gossip spread by co-workers may be offensive, but Thompson didn't provide any evidence to back up her claims.
