Strong winds lead to damage as crews get ready for snow

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – With the snow coming in, people had something else to prepare for: swirling winds. Gusts up to 60 miles per hour felled trees and power lines.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Road Workers returned from their day shift at midnight Friday to salt the roads as needed if temperatures dropped below freezing with snow.
