Seven Counties files for bankruptcy

LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- A Louisville nonprofit that provides behavioral health and development services has filed for bankruptcy.

Seven Counties says they filed due to mandatory employer contribution rates to the state retirement system.

Company officials project an operating loss of more than $2 million.

Seven Counties employs 1,400 people and they intend to continue operating.
