Seneca student arrested after Thursday's lockdown

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Seneca High School student was arrested Thursday after another student overheard him talking about making a bomb.

According to the arrest report, 19-year-old Nevan L. Swinney was talking with another student about making a bomb.

Then on March 6, police said Swinney was again overheard talking about bombs.

A student that heard the conversation reported the conversation to school officials which prompted a lockdown at Seneca and other surrounding schools.

Police were called to the school and said Swinney was cooperative and admitted to the conversation.

Swinney is charged with wanton endangerment.
