FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A threat tonight from Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

He says he'll put a hold on James Comey's nomination as FBI director until he gets answers about the use of drones for domestic surveillance.

You'll remember that issue led to a nearly 13-hour filibuster on the senate floor in March during the confirmation for CIA Director John Brennan.

Paul says he has no intention of ultimately defeating Comey's nomination to the FBI post, but wants to slow it down to see if the White House will respond to his questions about the use of drones to monitor Americans on U.S. soil.
