LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Louisville Metro Council will begin its search for the replacement of former Metro Councilwoman Judy Green on Thursday.
Last week the council removed Green from her seat for ethics violations just a few days after she resigned.
The council now has 30 days to search for Green’s replacement.
The candidate would serve until 2014 after which they would have to run for reelection.
Ray Barker, the man who first brought up the ethics allegations against Green, says that he is interested in the council seat.
