LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Rosalind Wiseman, the author of the new book "Masterminds and Wingman" will be in Louisville for a book signing.

Wiseman will speak and sign books at Collegiate on October 2, 2013 as part of a 12 city book tour.

Wiseman's insights into teenage girls was the basis for the movie "Mean Girls" and now she's back with a look inside the complicated and emotional world of middle and high school boys.

For "Masterminds and Wingmen," Wiseman collaborated with boys at schools across the country, including two in Louisville, Walden and Collegiate.

Wiseman points to suicide and incarceration rates in which boys far outpace girls -- and the proportion of college degrees for young men in steep decline.  She says she wants to change the conversation and give the people who care about boys the insight to reach them.

Wiseman's appearance will be at 7:00 p.m. at Louisville Collegiate School's Athletic Center.  The talk is free and open to the public, but you're asked to call aheadat 479-0340.
