Some would call 2013 the year of the Cards. It was filled with trophies and a championship. It all started with a Sugar Bowl victory that many thought wasn’t possible.
In 2013, Lynn’s Paradise Café suddenly closed, the first pedestrians walked across the Big Four Bridge, Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar and Louisville’s basketball team brought home its first championship in 27 years.
It was also a year when many court cases made national headlines.
