LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A new $5,000 reward is being offered for any information about the last four days of 24-year-old Kristine Pierson’s life.  Police found Pierson dead on Jan. 17 in the Portland neighborhood.

Her mom, Cheryl Browning, along with friends and family announced they had put together $5,000 for any information about who Pierson may have been with, or her location, between Jan. 14 through the morning of Jan. 17.

“She definitely trusted the wrong person,” Browning said.  “I know she wasn’t alone that night.”

Browning has received some messages and calls from people in the Portland neighborhood.  But police do not have any people of interest.

“I believe there are some people not being honest with what they know,” Browning said.

Pierson’s mother wants to remind people another $1,000 would be added to the reward if the tip comes through the Crime Stoppers tip line.

The investigation is currently at a standstill, according to Browning.  She hopes the reward will finally bring someone forward to help bring her daughter justice.

Call 574-LMPD if you have any information.
