LAGRANGE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Residents living around the Carriage House Company in Oldham County still have a lot of concerns and questions about the company's planned expansion. County planning officials held a meeting Wednesday night.
Among the chief concerns are traffic control, noise control, safety, and landscaping upkeep. Residents want to know their property values won't be affected by the expansion and they want that guarantee in writing.
County planning officials did their best to lay out the process, saying the company will have to go through a strict permitting and approval process to move the project forward.
The expansion will bring about 200 new jobs to Oldham County. It also means an increase in traffic of about 100 big rig trucks per day.
