Child struck by vehicle
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A child has been struck by a vehicle in the 3700 block of Winchester Road in St. Matthews.
According to St. Matthews Police a 12-year-old boy was running across the street when the car hit him. He initially hit the mirror of the vehicle and then fell into the path of the car where the child's legs were run over. The victim has been rushed to Kosair Children's Hospital.
Police say one leg was broken and they do not plan to press any charges.
