LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Local ministers are calling on the community and police to come together to end a string of recent shootings.

Religious leaders say the anti-violence conversation needs to continue.

The group met with Louisville Police Chief Steve Conrad on Friday, July 12. They addressed the most recent shooting death this week of Terrance Yancey near Algonquin Parkway and how to prevent additional crimes over the summer months.
