LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Homeowners in Jefferson County could be paying more in taxes come November.
A public hearing on the proposed tax increase will be held August 27 right before the Jefferson County Public Schools board meeting.
The rate increase could be as high as 3.4 percent. The money would bring in an additional $17 million for the JCPS district.
