LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Public input on the new look and reinvention of the area around Rupp Arena in Lexington is being sought at a meeting in Lexington.

The forum is set for Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Theatre at 214 E. Main St.

The lead architect on the arena project, Robert Mankin of NBBJ, and Kate Orff from SCAPE/LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE will offer a brief presentation and hear suggestions.

In July Lexington Center hired NBBJ to reinvent Rupp and design a new convention center. The selection of SCAPE was announced in February.

The public meeting will focus on plans for Town Branch Park, behind Rupp Arena, and how it relates to plans for Rupp Arena.
