LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Protesters took to the streets across the country and here in Louisville in a movement called “Money out, voters in.”

Activists in more than 100 towns and cities are rallying to demand lawmakers pass measures that limit the influence of money in politics.

The protesters were in place at the Jefferson County courthouse calling on congress to pass a constitutional amendment.

The group says 11 states and more than 350 communities have called for the constitutional amendment to be passed.
