Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- A pre-trial hearing is set for 8:45 a.m. Tuesday for the former Louisville Metro Housing Director and her mother.
Kimberly Bunton and Vickie Smallwood are both facing felony theft charges.
Authorities say they stole some $2,000 from the city to help Smallwood pay for her mortgage.
Bunton has said she thought her mother qualified for assistance.
The money has since been repaid.
