LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Jefferson County Coroner has released the name of a woman killed in an accident on I-65 North at the Gene Snyder ramp around noon Wednesday.
Police tell us 84-year-old Mary Mccoy of Okolona was driving a white Chevy and lost control while coming from the ramp of the Snyder onto northbound I-65, struck a guardrail, went back into the flow of traffic and was struck by a semi that was traveling northbound.
She was pronounced dead at University Hospital.
No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
