GREENSBURG, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Green County man is in jail after police say he led them on a chase through Greensburg, Kentucky on Sunday.
Police say around 5 P.M., an officer saw 32-year-old Dominique Hernandez driving erratically.
When the officer tried to pull him over, he sped off on Highway 68.
Officers chased Hernandez through town until he hit a light post.
Police say Hernandez got out of his vehicle and came towards officers yelling obscenities. That’s when they tased him.
Police believe he was driving drunk and they say he smelled of alcohol.
Hernandez is facing numerous charges including fleeing, resisting arrest and DUI.
