LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A juvenile is expected to be charged after police say he led them on a chase through Louisville.

Police initially responded to a call of shots fired at Muhammad Ali and 22nd Street. Officers said they tried to pull over a person in a white car, but the driver fled.

The juvenile eventually made it to Garrs Lane in Shively where police said he made a u-turn, crashed into a police cruiser and a utility pole, but the chase still wasn’t over.

“Then he took off running over by the church about two yards down and about 10 cops just tackled him and handled him. After that, that was it, they had him,” Chris Eskridge, a witness said.

Police said no officers were injured in the chase. No word on the condition of the driver.
