LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police detectives are crediting surveillance video for the capture of two men they said are responsible for multiple car break ins and burglaries.

According to the arrest report, 25-year-old Devin Ford and Mark Casebolt were arrested after video showed Ford's vehicle and license plate.  Police said the video came in after a report of a suspect breaking in to vehicles at the Hooters on Dixie Highway.

Ford was interviewed by detectives and they said he admitted to breaking in to 30 to 40 vehicles.

Both men are charged with several counts of theft and receiving stolen property.

Police say they targeted business parking lots and neighborhoods-- usually during lunchtime or around 1 a.m.
