FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- More than a dozen people gathered at the Louisville Waterfront Friday night to remember the victims killed in a deadly crash near Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana.
They lit candles to remember their three friends inside the taxi cab. Police say Charles Barlow was driving when he caused the accident early Monday morning on Highway 111 in Floyd County.
The cab crashed into a Cadillac driven by Thomas Stinson, a retired LMPD officer, was also killed.
Barlow's fiance Laura Weigand and his two best friends Michael Roby and Tara Hirsekorn --were all killed.
Barlow was able to crawl out of the burning cab. Police say he admitted to drinking before the accident.
