LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Kentucky pain clinic owner was sentenced Tuesday for running illegal pill mills.
45-year-old Will Singleton was convicted of 21 federal charges including drug trafficking and money laundering.
Singleton owned clinics in Georgetown and Dry Ridge, Kentucky along with a pain clinic in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
He was found guilty of running the pill mills where doctors would prescribe pain medication including oxycodone to patients without giving them adequate exams.
Singleton was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
