(WHAS 11)--A 3-year, 5 million dollar overhaul is complete and at 10 a.m. June 14th the Patton Museum at Fort Knox will be officially rededicated.
The museum was once home to a collection of tank artifacts.
Now it's been updated making it more interactive with lessons in Army leadership from 1775 to the present.
Kentucky’s governor will be on hand along with Major General Jeff Smith at 10 a.m. for the reopening ceremony.
It’s also the US Army's 238th birthday.
