Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Artist Richard Luce of Crestwood unveiled his piece depicting the landing of a flatboat along the Ohio River in what is now Oldham County, by a group of early settlers.

Oldham County Judge-Executive David Voegele asked Luce to create the piece called The Founding of Harmony Landing.

It will be displayed on the second floor of the Fiscal Court Building.

The painting is valued at $30,000 dollars but was paid for by a $15,000 grant.
