CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- One child remains in the hospital tonight after the bus accident in Carroll County that left two toddlers dead.

A 4-year-old girl has been upgraded from stable to good condition and moved out of Kosair Children's hospital ICU.

Dulce Cruz, 3, was one of the six kids injured on the bus after the driver overcorrected and smashed into a tree.

Her mom, Erika, says the school bus was 30 minutes late dropping off Dulce, and that's when she heard about the accident.

Maria rushed to the hospital where she and her daughter were airlifted to Kosair Children's Hospital. Dulce stayed at the hospital for two nights before she was released home.

Dulce suffered a fractured wrist and broken left leg.

Her father says she has been having nightmares ever since the accident.

Dulce will be in cast for four weeks. Her parents say they let her decide if she wants to go back to school. If the 3-year-old does want to go back to school her parents say she will not be taking a school bus.
