OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police in Ohio County, Kentucky believe wolf dogs may hold the answer to the case of a missing woman.
The sheriff's department says the animals may have eaten at least part of Patricia Ritz's remains.
Police say neighbors haven't seen the elderly woman in more than a week.
There is a chance she died and at least some of her remains were eaten by the dogs, which are believed to be Ritz's pets.
During an investigation, deputies found a human skull and jawbone.
The animal control is also involved in the matter and are attempting to find homes for the dogs.
