The former Transportation Secretary acquitted of wrongdoing is back working in Frankfort.
Senate President David Williams tells the Daily Independent that Bill Nighbert has been hired as an adviser on the road plan.
Nighbert was found not guilty of bid rigging in January. He was accused of steering construction projects to a Kentucky road contractor.
Nighbert is now working for the Republican Senate Campaign Caucus Committee.
