Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- At 1:30 p.m. Monday, a news conference will be held to announce upcoming programs to help area youth find jobs.
Mayor Greg Fischer, Congressman John Yarmuth, and JCPS Superintendent Dr. Donna Hargens will announce two initiatives.
They include the Youth Opportunity Showcase next month, and the Summerworks.
Both are designed to find part-time and summer jobs for teens age 16 to 21.
