(WHAS11)-New, environmentally-friendly jobs may be coming to New Albany from Earlies California start-up company Wind-stream technologies.  It plans to open in the Purdue technology center by February 2010.

Wind-stream makes windmills to supply power for businesses and residences.

The devices will be small enough for installation on houses, businesses or light poles.

Wind-stream anticipates its facility will bring 260 jobs to New Albany by 2012.
