(WHAS11) -- One hundred new jobs are coming to the Louisville area.

Mayor Greg Fischer and Congressman John Yarmuth, with officials from the Jefferson County Community and Technical College, announced Wednesday that companies are hiring workers for the moving van industry.

The starting pay is said to be $40,000 a year. Applicants who already have a commercial driver's license can complete the training and be on the job in three weeks.
