It won't be until Tuesday but a New Albany woman could get her dogs back.

Katherine Fraze's dogs were seized from her sanctuary after the Floyd County Health Department ruled her property uninhabitable due to a septic tank issue.

Fraze was forced to come up with more than $3300 dollars for impound fees for her 39 dogs.

Friday, she had the money but still needed to find foster homes for all of the dogs and herself.

“I am essentially homeless and i guess for a lack of a better word, my dogs are not.  They are in a safe place,” said Fraze.

Fraze has until Wednesday to meet the property code to do that she must install a septic system or she could be evicted.

The Animal Control Board agreed to give Fraze until Tuesday to find homes for the dogs.
