(WHAS11) -- Kentucky continues to rank in “best lists” across the nation, now National Geographic has designated the Kentucky Bourbon Trail as one of its top 10 "Best Spring Trips" in the world.
Only three American trips made the top 10: The Bourbon Trail is featured among the festivals and attractions in India, the Netherlands, and Argentina.
The trail broke records last year, attracting more than 500,000 visitors, and the trail director said attendance is already up this year as well.
Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail Tour features seven distilleries: Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Heaven Hill, Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve and Town Branch.
