(WHAS11) -- Thousands of people packed into Waterfront Park tonight for the Forecastle Festival.
They're here to see bands such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Widespread Panic, Cake and the Flaming Lips. People enjoyed the live music Friday night by dancing or even hula-hooping.
The Forecastle Festival encompasses music, art and environmental activism.
It starts again at noon Saturday at Waterfront Park.
