(WHAS11) -- The high profile murder trial of Steven Pettway has been put on hold until Friday due to some jail phone calls.
Pettway is charged with murdering Troya Sheckles in Shelby Park in 2009. The judge delayed the trial Wednesday because a defense attorney didn't receive copies of phone calls made from witnesses who are in jail.
On Tuesday more than a dozen people testified about what they saw at the park that day, but none of them could say if Pettway was the shooter.
