LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The investigation continues into the bombings at the Boston Marathon and the president and a senator are targeted with letters containing ricin are the topics of discussion for this week’s The Moral Side of the News.

Officials using surveillance video are reporting significant progress in the search for whoever set of those two bombs at the Boston Marathon.

While the investigation continues, fans at last the Boston Bruin/Buffalo Sabres hockey match made their feelings clear with a rousing rendition of the national anthem.

This week has been an emotional roller coaster for the people of Boston and this week’s panel discussed how the incident was handled by first responders, the media and law enforcement agencies.

The Moral Side panel also expressed their views after FBI said a letter sent to President Obama and to a senator from Mississippi that tested positive for the deadly poison ricin.
