(WHAS 11)—It’s been one year since a deadly shootout that killed three people and injured others in West Louisville.

A moment of silence will be held at noon today to remember the victims.

Police were responding to a shooting when shots rang out in a crowd gathered in broad daylight.

The community will observe a moment of silence and ceremony May 17th at noon at 32nd Street and Greenwood Avenue.

There are a series of weekend events planned.
