HAZARD, Ky. (AP) -- Searchers have found three hikers safe in the Red River Gorge.
WYMT-TV reported the out-of-state adventurers somehow strayed off the Osborne Bend Trail in Wolfe County.
Officials said the group consisted of two women and one man, all between 20 and 30-years-old. They became lost after setting out on a Sunday day hike.
They were found and rescued late Sunday night near the Wolfe-Morgan county line. Authorities said the hikers are from Michigan.
