LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) --  The coroner has released the name of the man found in the Ohio River.

The man has been identified as Michael Anthony Cerullo, 33. Cerullo is from Tinley Park, Ill. Officials are not sure if he was staying or visiting in Louisville. Officials also say it appears Cerullo jumped from a Kentuckiana bridge a few days ago and his body was recovered on Monday.

Louisville police are investigating after a Cerullo's body was found in the Ohio River in southwestern Jefferson County.

The body was discovered around 1:30 Monday afternoon behind the Marathon Oil Plant in the 4500 block of Algonquin Parkway Rubbertown.

Police say it is too early to tell if foul play may have been involved.

Funeral arrangements for Cerullo are pending.
