LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Metro Budget Committee will meet and they are inviting you to voice your opinion on the mayor's budget plan.
Louisville mayor Greg Fischer's budget plan includes adding more police officers to the force and taxpayers will pay for them with a 3 percent increase on the gas portion of their LG&E bill.
The increase averages out to about $20 a year.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.
