LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Talk of a meteor all across Kentuckiana on Thursday morning, Sept. 26, have many saying they spotted it early Thursday morning and calling into our newsroom and radio stations in the area.

We haven't seen any pictures or video of those spotting but take a look at what happened in Canada.

A fireball falls to the earth and it was all captured on dashcam video.

Doctor Tom Tretter from Gheens Science Hall at the UofL Planetarium talked to us about why this one was easy to see around Kentuckiana.

"This one was particularly nice to see...last 4-5 seconds...will draw the eyes attention," Tretter said.

If you have video or pictures of this said meteor we would love to see them. You can send them to yourphotos@whas11.com or post them on our Facebook.
