(WHAS11) -- Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer has named who he would like to see as the newest member on the Metropolitan Sewer District's board of directors.
Fischer has nominated Joyce Horton Mott to replace Ben Richmond, who's been on the board since 1990.
The mayor's spokesperson says Mott is a retired state employee who worked in the criminal justice system.
However this isn't a done deal. Mott's nomination still has to be approved by the Metro Council contracts and appointments committee.
They will meet on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
